A shooting in the Park Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, has left multiple individuals injured, prompting an active investigation by local authorities. The incident occurred late Friday night in the 1600 block of Moore Court after police received several reports of gunfire, including alerts from ShotSpotter technology.

According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers responded quickly to the scene and discovered two adult men, both believed to be in their 40s, suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim sustained an injury to the arm, while the other suffered a graze wound to the head. Emergency responders transported both men to UofL Hospital, where they are expected to recover.

In addition to the two primary victims, authorities reported that a woman in her early 30s and a 2-year-old child later arrived at the hospital with minor injuries. Investigators believe their wounds may have been caused by ricochet fragments or debris related to the shooting. Fortunately, both are also expected to be okay.

Details surrounding what led to the shooting remain unclear, and police have not released information regarding any suspects. Investigators are working to piece together the events that unfolded and determine whether the shooting was targeted or random.
