A life of service, family, and joy leaves lasting impact.

The Cambridge community is heartbroken as it honors the life of Antonio D. Lopez, 24, who passed away on March 30, 2026, at his home. Antonio’s sudden departure has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his warmth, dedication, and vibrant spirit.

Born on October 30, 2001, in Porterville to Antonio Jose Lopez and Betsy Michener, Antonio carried a natural sense of determination and kindness from an early age. He lived with purpose, always striving to connect with others and leave a positive mark on his world. His commitment to service was evident in his work as a mechanic for the Ohio National Guard, where he regularly volunteered for additional deployments, demonstrating selflessness and devotion beyond duty.

Outside of his military service, Antonio embraced life fully. He loved camping and gaming, balancing adventure with the simple joys of life. Athletics played an important role, with cross country and swim team participation highlighting his discipline and team spirit. His Catholic faith guided his values, shaping the way he treated family, friends, and colleagues with care and integrity.
