Beloved Denton Resident Remembered for His Kindness and Legacy

The Denton, North Carolina community is mourning the passing of Joseph Dale “Woodle” Huffman, who died early Monday morning at Atrium Health Baptist Medical Center in Lexington at the age of 69. His passing leaves behind family, friends, and a community that will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and unmistakable personality.

Born on December 24, 1956, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Jacob Ralph Huffman and Lillie Marie Watkins Huffman. Over the years, Dale built a life centered around hard work and dedication. He spent time working in the lumber industry before pursuing his passion for precision and detail as the owner and operator of Huffman Auto Detailing. Through his work, he became known not only for his craftsmanship but also for the pride he took in every vehicle he touched.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jacob “Junior” Huffman. He is survived by many cousins, close friends, and his loyal canine companion, Peanut, who was a constant source of companionship and comfort in his daily life.
