Authorities in Louisville, Kentucky are investigating a shooting that occurred late Saturday night in the Park Hill neighborhood, leaving multiple individuals injured. The incident unfolded in the 1600 block of Moore Court following several emergency calls reporting gunfire, as well as alerts from ShotSpotter technology.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), officers responded quickly to the scene and located two men, both believed to be in their 40s, suffering from gunshot-related injuries. One victim sustained a gunshot wound to the arm, while the other suffered a graze wound to the head. Both men were transported to UofL Hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
In addition to the two primary victims, police reported that a woman in her early 30s and a 2-year-old child later arrived at the hospital with minor injuries. Investigators believe their wounds may have been caused by ricochet fragments or debris related to the shooting. Fortunately, both are also expected to be okay.
