A devoted husband to Christina (Burke), Michael was a father who cherished his children Michelle and Senan, and a proud father-in-law to Seán and Ashling. His life was further enriched by his adored grandchildren Robert, Ben, Kasi, and Ruby, who brought joy and laughter to his days. Family and friends remember Michael for his gentle nature, kind heart, and unwavering support for everyone around him.
He is survived by his brother P.J., sister-in-law Margaret, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who will forever treasure his warmth, guidance, and quiet humor.
Michael’s funeral arrangements reflect his family’s love and respect. He will repose in St. Senan’s Church, Kilrush, on Friday, April 3, from 5 p.m., with Funeral Prayers at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m., followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery, Sahanakyle. Family flowers only are requested, with donations welcomed for St. Theresa’s Nursing Home, Kilrush, in recognition of the care he received.
