Losing a father, husband, and grandfather so full of life leaves a hole words can’t fill. Last night, our dad, my hero, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep. This is the hardest post I’ve ever written, and the only way I know how to share the news with so many who loved him too.
He was more than just a family man—he was laughter in the quiet moments, wisdom in times of doubt, and a constant source of love and strength. His humor could light up a room, his kindness touched everyone he met, and his dedication as a husband, dad, and peepaw was unmatched. Every hug, every joke, every bit of advice he gave came from a heart so full it overflowed to all of us.
Our family is endlessly grateful for the life he lived and the love he gave. We are cherishing the memories, big and small, that remind us of how special he truly was. From teaching lessons we’ll carry forever to creating moments that made us laugh until our sides hurt, he left a legacy we will honor every day.
