The close-knit community of Cork, Ireland, is mourning the tragic and completely unexpected loss of Paul Collins, a talented co-founder of Noise Marketing and a deeply cherished member of the Ballinhassig AFC family. His sudden passing has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him across both the local business and sporting landscapes.
Paul Collins died unexpectedly following a tragic accident at home in Glanmire, a catastrophic loss that has sent massive shockwaves through his family, friends, teammates, and the wider community. His departure has been met with widespread, deep sadness as those closest to him struggle to come to terms with the abrupt end of a vibrant life defined by warmth, loyalty, and genuine kindness.
Paul was widely known and highly respected for his professional contributions as a co-founder and Marketing Director of Noise, an agency he helped establish in 2016. Beyond his business success, he maintained deep, foundational ties to local sport. He began his football journey at a young age with Ballinhassig AFC, where he developed both his athletic skills and lifelong friendships. In later years, he proudly returned to the club to play for the Junior Men’s team, sharing the pitch once again with childhood friends.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Paul describe him as a truly kind-hearted, approachable, and sincere person—someone who carried a quiet strength and a natural ability to make everyone around him feel valued.
His loss is devastatingly felt by his loving parents, Denis and Teresa, and his siblings, Sr. Mary Joseph and Ronan. A funeral mass to celebrate his life will be held at The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Shanakiel, followed by burial at St. James’ Cemetery, Chetwynd.
