According to official incident reports from the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, emergency communications received a high-priority distress call at approximately 8:18 p.m. regarding a possible drowning on Pleasant Lake in Corinna Township, located just north of Annandale. Upon arriving at the scene, responding patrol deputies discovered an overturned kayak floating near the public boat access and dock on the north side of the lake, where multiple local residents had been fishing from the shoreline.
