The community of Brilliant, Alabama is mourning the loss of Braxton and Braden Canterberry, two brothers who died in a single-vehicle crash early in the morning along County Road 36. The tragic incident has left family members, friends, and residents of the small town grieving an unexpected and devastating loss.

According to preliminary reports, the crash occurred around 2 a.m. when a sport utility vehicle traveling along County Road 36 left the roadway and wrecked. Authorities stated that all three individuals inside the vehicle were ejected during the crash.

Braxton and Braden Canterberry were pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. A third occupant, identified as an 18-year-old male, survived but was critically injured. Emergency responders transported him from the scene, and he was later airlifted to a hospital in Birmingham for further medical treatment.
