Dom was a cherished husband to Sadie, a devoted father to his boys, and a beloved member of the extended Sharkey family. His kindness, humor, and unwavering reliability made him a friend and confidant to many. Whether on the family “team” or in the small joys of daily life, Dom approached every task with determination and care, and those qualities will be remembered fondly.
Friends recall with fond amusement the lighthearted debates about his “role” in heaven—whether taking over center forward for St. Peter or tending to the celestial garden, Dom would have done either with the same dedication and heart he showed in life. Such memories highlight the warmth, humor, and spirit he shared with everyone around him.
