The Bedford community is mourning the loss of Brenda Coulton, 81, who tragically died last week in a road traffic collision on the A4280 St Neots Road. Brenda’s family described her as a loving wife, mum, grandmother, sister, and auntie whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, when a grey Volkswagen Golf, carrying Brenda as a passenger, collided with a white Renault truck parked in a layby. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, Brenda was pronounced dead at the location. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
Family and friends have shared heartfelt tributes, emphasizing Brenda’s nurturing spirit, her dedication to family, and her ability to make those around her feel valued and loved. “Brenda was a loving, and much-loved wife, mum, grandma, sister and auntie, and will be greatly missed by all her family and the many friends she’d made over the years,” her family said.
