It wasn’t until police arrived around 9:30 a.m. Friday that the devastating discovery was made.
Officers responding to the scene on High Glen Drive pushed open the apartment door and found 35-year-old Alisha Shanell Lewis lying lifeless in the doorway. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The home, which she shared with a family member who wasn’t there that night, had become the site of a silent and deadly crime.
Investigators believe the shooting happened hours earlier, under the cover of night, while the neighborhood remained calm and unaware. The delay in reporting has only deepened the mystery, leaving detectives with a narrow window of clues to piece together what happened.
