Remembering the Bright Life of Brady Hunker

A community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Brady Dennis Hunker, a 15-year-old from Herminie whose life, though short, left an unforgettable impact on everyone who knew him. Brady passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, leaving behind a family and circle of friends who are now holding tightly to the memories he created.

Born on June 8, 2010, in Greensburg, Brady was the beloved son of Jillian S. Madigan and the late Dennis R. Hunker. As a sophomore at Yough Senior High School, he was known not just as a student, but as a bright light—someone whose presence made others feel welcomed and valued.

Brady had a passion for life that showed in everything he did. He loved riding dirt bikes and quads, spending hours enjoying the thrill and freedom they gave him. He also found joy in video games and, most importantly, in spending time with his family and friends. Those closest to him say his smile had a way of making everyone feel like they mattered.

He was known for his kind heart and willingness to help others, especially when it came to fixing things. Brady had a natural mechanical talent and dreamed of one day becoming a mechanic. Whether helping a friend or caring for the kittens he took in, his compassion was evident in every part of his life.
