Erika Latavia Latham never made it out of the 200 block of Water Avenue, where police found her suffering from gunshot wounds after responding to reports of gunfire around 1 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving family, friends, and neighbors devastated.
By the next afternoon, authorities had arrested 33-year-old Deandre Brandell Langhorne of Uniontown. He was booked into the Perry County Jail on a manslaughter charge.
