A wave of grief and respect is flowing through West Virginia as family, friends, and fellow service members come together to honor the life of Sgt. 1st Class Jordan Seabolt—a man defined by service, love, and unwavering dedication to both his country and his family.
Jordan was more than a soldier. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and someone who carried the weight of responsibility with quiet strength. His passing has left a deep void, not only in his family but across the military community he served so faithfully for nearly two decades.
Enlisting in the West Virginia Army National Guard on June 18, 2008, Jordan built a career marked by commitment and excellence. He served as a maintenance section sergeant with the 1528th Forward Support Company (Special Operations) (Airborne) and also worked full-time at the Army Interagency Training and Education Center in St. Albans. His deployment to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia from 2019 to 2020 reflected his readiness to serve wherever he was needed.
