The policing community is mourning the tragic loss of PC Bradley Corke, who died at the age of 27 after a fatal collision while responding to an emergency incident. Described by colleagues as a “popular colleague,” PC Corke was en route to assist when his marked police vehicle was involved in a crash with a Volkswagen Scirocco on the A20 London Road in Swanley.
According to a statement from Kent Police, PC Corke was based in Tonbridge and had joined the force in May 2022. In a tribute, the force emphasized that he “selflessly gave up his life while trying to save the lives of others who were in danger,” highlighting his bravery, dedication, and commitment to public service.
His sudden passing has left his family, friends, and colleagues devastated. The force confirmed that support is being provided to those closest to him during this difficult time, as they come to terms with the loss of a young officer whose career was only just beginning.
