A Light Gone Too Soon

It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we mourn the passing of Frederico Lima De Lana, a bright and loving 13-year-old from Naugatuck, CT. Born on November 30, 2012, in Brazil to Dayse De Lima Bezerra and Marcos Maciel De Lana, Frederico was an 8th-grade student at City Hill Middle School. Known for his radiant personality, sensitivity, and wisdom beyond his years, Fred brought light and joy to everyone around him. His laughter, kindness, and genuine heart left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Fred is survived by his loving parents, Dayse and Marcos, his sister Ana Julia Lima De Lana, his maternal grandfather Jose Aecio Bezerra, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. The depth of love and grief felt for Frederico reflects the beautiful life he lived, though far too brief.
