It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of Danielle Nichole Conklin of Felton, Delaware, on February 27, 2026. Born on March 27, 1988, in Dover, Delaware, Danielle was the beloved daughter and shining light of Wayne and Dee Fields of Wyoming, Delaware. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, and colleagues alike.
Danielleโs journey was marked by dedication and passion. She graduated from Polytech High School in 2006 as a dental assistant and began her career working with orthodontic and eye care specialists, before finding her true calling at Dedicated to Women, where she rose from front desk assistant to Surgical & OBGYN Coordinator and Manager. Danielleโs commitment to her work, her patients, and her colleagues reflected her compassionate heart and her ability to make everyone feel cared for and valued.
On September 20, 2014, Danielle married her best friend and soulmate, Alec Conklin, joining not just lives but families. Her greatest joy, however, was being a mother to her daughters, Addison Grace (10) and Haven Willow (7). Danielleโs love for her children was boundless; she nurtured them with devotion, warmth, and endless laughter, always prioritizing their happiness and well-being above all else.
Danielle loved bringing people together, whether through her passion for baking, hosting family gatherings, game nights, or holiday dinners. She enjoyed Tennessee Volunteers football, cherished concerts with Alec, and treasured moments with her niece and nephew, Savannah and Sawyer Morris, who adored their โAunt DiDi.โ Her laughter, joy, and vibrant spirit could light up any room, leaving a legacy of love and happiness.
She is survived by her devoted husband Alec, daughters Addison and Haven, parents Wayne and Dee Fields, second parents Bill and Sheri Conklin, siblings, grandparents, and countless extended family members. Danielle was preceded in death by beloved relatives, including her cousin Sheyenne Marshall.
