Houston, Texas — The community is reeling after the tragic death of Marietta Allison, who was fatally shot in the neck in an apparent attempted robbery on the night of March 9, 2026. Allison, a devoted friend, had driven to Houston to support her close friend, Cassie Daniel, who is undergoing cancer treatment.
