Ridgecrest, CA – A Ridgecrest community is grieving the loss of Donte Javon William, 26, who tragically died in a solo motorcycle crash on January 9, 2026, at approximately 2:38 p.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of South Jacks Ranch Road and Bowman Road, marking the second fatal traffic collision in Ridgecrest this year.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), William was riding his motorcycle when the crash occurred.
