FRANTIC SEARCH UNDERWAY: AMBER ALERT ISSUED FOR 2‑YEAR‑OLD SAXON CLEMONS IN NORTH JUDSON, INDIANA

A statewide AMBER Alert has been issued in Indiana as law enforcement intensifies its search for 2‑year‑old Saxon Clemons, believed to be in extreme danger following his disappearance Thursday afternoon. The Starke County Sheriff’s Department activated the alert from North Judson, Indiana, about 121 miles northwest of Indianapolis, after Saxon was last seen at approximately 3:00 p.m. on February 5, 2026.

Authorities describe Saxon as 2 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 30 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a blue and gray sweatshirt and blue and gray sweatpants.

Law enforcement believes the child may be with 44‑year‑old suspect Dwayne Clemons, who has been identified in connection with the case. Clemons is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police also released information about a silver 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer with Indiana license plate CRS242, which they believe the suspect may be driving.

The AMBER Alert, broadcast early Friday morning, is aimed at rapidly mobilizing the public and law enforcement across Indiana to help locate the missing child and suspect before further harm can occur. Authorities stress that Saxon may be in “extreme danger” and urge anyone with credible information to come forward immediately.

Officials continue to coordinate search efforts in and around North Judson, where the alert was issued, and have asked anyone who spots the vehicle or either individual to contact the Starke County Sheriff’s Department at 574‑772‑3771 or call 911 without hesitation.
