A solo-vehicle crash on Wolf Creek Road in Alta Sierra sent one driver to the hospital on the afternoon of December 9, 2025. The accident occurred around 2:56 p.m. near Brewer Road, when the driver’s vehicle went off the roadway, tumbling down into a creek.

Fire personnel were quick to respond, working with emergency responders to extricate the driver from the wreckage. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was then rushed to Sierra Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment. Their injuries, while serious, were not immediately deemed life-threatening.
