Tragic Crash in Hicksville Claims Lives of Two Levittown Teens

Two young women from Levittown tragically lost their lives Friday night in a devastating car crash on Old Country Road in Hicksville, Nassau County authorities confirmed. The victims, Alexa Duryea and Lindsey Parke, both 19, were riding as passengers in a 2026 white BMW when the vehicle veered off course and crashed.

According to Nassau County Police, the crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. when the 23-year-old male driver of the BMW, heading westbound near Sterling Place, reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The car crossed into oncoming traffic before striking a tree and slamming into a building. The force of the impact was catastrophic.

Both Alexa and Lindsey suffered severe trauma and were tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Their families and friends are now grieving the sudden loss of two young lives. The driver of the vehicle, whose name has not been released, was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries. His condition, however, remains undisclosed at this time.
