The close-knit neighborhood networks, regional motorsports associations, and dedicated industrial workplace circles of Cascade, Random Lake, and Plymouth, Wisconsin, are draped in a heavy blanket of profound sorrow and intense heartbreak following the tragic passing of Jeremey David Burgard. The exceptional 48-year-old local resident, devoted family provider, and passionate mechanical enthusiast lost his life unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2026, following a devastating motorcycle collision. The catastrophic highway crash has left his loving children, grieving father, sister, and an extensive network of lifelong friends completely shattered as they collectively navigate an immeasurable physical and emotional void. Jeremey was a remarkably bright, industrious, and genuine family anchor whose extraordinary work ethic, infectious smile, and unyielding loyalty left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
According to official emergency response updates from Cascade Police Chief Jason Liermann and Sheboygan County traffic dispatchers, rescue squads rushed to the active transit corridor of Sheboygan County Highway W, just west of Highway BB, at approximately 12:26 p.m. Preliminary forensic findings indicate that Jeremey was operating his motorcycle westbound when his vehicle inadvertently crossed the centerline roadway marking, placing him directly into the path of an oncoming eastbound pickup truck. The resulting high-velocity impact caused instantaneous, catastrophic blunt-force trauma, rendering Jeremey deceased at the scene before medical transport could be initiated.
First responders cordoned off the route northwest of Adell for several hours to document evidence and clear the debris field. Jeremey’s greatest joy was being a protective, loving father, and his legacy will live on through his children and the memories shared at Road America tracks and family campfires. A public celebration of life is scheduled for June 13 at the Village of 170 in Kohler.
