According to official emergency response updates from the Hammond Police Department, patrol officers rushed to the Chevron gas station located on Highway 190 near Westin Oak Drive at approximately 1:15 a.m. following urgent reports of rapid gunfire. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Patricia sitting inside a gray sedan suffering from multiple, severe high-impact gunshot wounds.
