A community is searching for answers after the shocking killing of 26-year-old Jakale Deshon Norman, who was fatally shot in what investigators believe was a targeted attack. Authorities are now offering a $10,000 reward for information that could help identify and locate the suspect responsible for the deadly shooting.

The incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. along the 2200 block of Davis Road, when neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots echo through the area. Moments later, residents discovered Norman suffering from several gunshot wounds. Witnesses also reported seeing a large, dark SUV with heavily tinted windows speeding away from the scene immediately after the shooting.

According to investigators, the vehicle’s license plate had been intentionally covered, suggesting the attack may have been carefully planned. Despite the quick response from emergency services, Norman tragically died from his injuries, leaving family members, friends, and neighbors devastated.

Law enforcement officials say early evidence indicates the shooting was not random, but they have not yet revealed what may have led to the violent act.
