In Loving Memory of Jeremy Andrew Bailey Rugg – A Life of Honesty, Love, and Joy

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jeremy Andrew Bailey Rugg, age 52, of Neosho, Missouri, announces his passing on March 5, 2026. Born on November 3, 1973, in Everett, Washington, Jeremy lived a life defined by integrity, warmth, and a generosity of spirit that touched everyone who knew him.

Jeremy was, above all, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished every moment with his family, finding the greatest joy in his loved ones’ happiness. Those closest to him recall a man who lived fully in the present, embracing life with honesty, authenticity, and a deep capacity to make others feel valued.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeremy loved fishing, not for the catch but for the experience and memories shared. He also enjoyed playing Ingress and video games with his children, moments that fostered laughter, bonding, and memories that will be treasured forever. As a grandfather to three cherished grandchildren, Jeremy brought that same presence, joy, and love into every interaction, creating a lasting impact on their young lives.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Summers; his parents, Mike and Mary Rugg; his sisters, Jennifer and Jolene Rugg; his children, Dakota Summers, Shawn Woodle, JC Sponseller, Demeri Summers-Stacy, and Haley Sponseller; and his three grandchildren.

Jeremy lived by his principles, famously saying not to promise or guarantee anything, but his word was his bond. He embodied the very values he cherished: honesty, love, and living fully in each moment.
