It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Andrew Barr, age 44, of Crestwood, Illinois, who left us on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Joe was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. His greatest joy in life was his three daughters, Elisabeth, Abigail, and Paige, who were the center of his world. Known for his kind heart, unwavering strength, and warm sense of humor, Joe brought light to everyone he encountered. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, or offer guidance, putting the needs of others above his own.

For nine years, Joe worked as a Lead Mechanic at Schold Manufacturing, where he earned the respect of his coworkers and formed lifelong friendships. His dedication, reliability, and pride in his work were qualities that defined him both on and off the job.

Joe is survived by his loving parents, Karen and Ed Barr, and his siblings, Sherri, Brian, and Mike, along with a large family of nephews and nieces: Jon, Austin, Scott, Kyle, Brett, Dylan, Blake, Brayden, and Korin, as well as grandnephews and grandnieces Addison, Derek, Lincoln, and Theodore. He also leaves behind countless friends and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.

Though Joe’s time with us was far too short, the love, guidance, and laughter he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his daughters, family, and all who knew him.
