Remembering Lloyd Newcombe: A Young Life Taken Too Soon

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Lloyd John Carl Newcombe announce his passing. Lloyd, aged just 15, left this world on February 18th, 2026, and is now reunited with his beloved Nanny Sue and Grandad Daryl. His sudden departure has left family, friends, and the wider community heartbroken, as they come together to mourn the loss of a young life filled with promise, love, and laughter.

Lloyd was the dearest son of Michelle and Carl, a loving brother to Jake, Shea, and Mya-Sue, and a cherished grandson of John and Janet. He was also a beloved nephew to John, Carl, Andy, and Laura, and a treasured cousin and friend to many. Those who knew Lloyd remember him as a kind, joyful, and caring young person whose presence brought happiness and warmth to everyone around him.

Funeral arrangements have been set to honor and celebrate Lloydโ€™s life. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, 23rd March 2026, at St Chadโ€™s Church at 1:45 pm, followed by a committal at GreenAcres at 3:45 pm. Family and friends are invited to return to Quarry Green Club afterward for refreshments and to celebrate the life of a remarkable young boy whose time with us, though brief, touched so many hearts.

The family kindly requests family flowers only, with donations welcome to Alder Hey Childrenโ€™s Hospital. A donation box will be available on the day for those wishing to contribute in Lloydโ€™s memory.

Lloyd Newcombeโ€™s passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but the love, laughter, and memories he shared with family and friends will forever remain in their hearts. His life, though short, was filled with meaning, joy, and the warmth of those who loved him.
