Protector Lost: Jordan Alexander Jones Killed While Trying to Stop Violence


The community of Acworth, Georgia is mourning the tragic loss of Jordan Alexander Jones, a 28-year-old professional football player and security guard who was fatally shot while attempting to stop a fight outside the Saddle Bar in the early morning hours of March 7, 2026.

Jordan Jones was known as someone who lived to protect others. Whether on the football field or working security, he carried himself with discipline, courage, and a deep sense of responsibility for the people around him.
