Berkeley Township, New Jersey — A heavy police presence remains in place near the intersection of Shorewood Drive and Fairwood Drive this evening as law enforcement continues investigating a fatal shooting that has left multiple people dead.

Authorities were called to the neighborhood following reports of gunfire and possible multiple murders in what appears to have been a domestic‑related incident. Upon arrival, officers found the scene chaotic and dangerous, prompting a large response from local, state, and emergency units. Residents in the area were initially urged to shelter in place while officers secured the area, but officials now confirm there is no ongoing threat to the public.
