Authorities in Oconee County, South Carolina, have arrested Levi Kevin Jones, 24, in connection with the brutal killings of his grandparents, Larry Moore and Sandra Moore. The couple’s bodies were discovered on January 15, 2026, inside their home on Cromer Moore Road near Westminster.

Jones has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Investigators confirmed that Larry Moore suffered multiple stab wounds, while Sandra Moore was strangled. Arrest warrants allege that Jones used a knife in the vicious attack on his grandfather, and manually strangled his grandmother.

The couple’s tragic deaths came to light after a family member requested a welfare check. The authorities’ discovery of the crime scene sent shockwaves through the close-knit community.
