Anaheim, CA – The family of a 24-year-old pregnant woman who was killed in a DUI collision early Sunday morning in Anaheim identified her as Bianca Esquivel.
The crash was triggered by a DUI suspect identified as Daniel Ramos, 24. According to police, Ramos was driving a gray Lexus sedan when he ran a red light on Anaheim Boulevard and an on-ramp of the 91 Freeway, then collided with a white Toyota Camry.
Esquivel was the front passenger in the Camry and died in the crash. Her family opened a GoFundMe page to help them raise funds for her funeral. Esquivel was pregnant with her second child. She leaves behind a 4-year-old son.
Her boyfriend, Oscar, was driving the Camry and remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
Ramos was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and vehicular manslaughter. His two passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anaheim, CA – A pregnant woman died after an intoxicated driver ran a red light early Sunday morning at an intersection in Anaheim, authorities reported.
The deadly collision was reported around 12:09 a.m., January 25, on Anaheim Boulevard near an on-ramp of the 91 Freeway.
According to investigators, 24-year-old Daniel Ramos was driving a gray Lexus sedan when he ran a red light and collided with a white Toyota Camry.
A 24-year-old pregnant woman in the front seat of the Camry died from injuries suffered in the accident.
