It is with a heavy heart that I share the loss of Dusty Casey, a friend, mentor, and brother who left us far too soon. I first met Dusty over a decade ago during fraternity rush in the fall of 2015, and he quickly became my Fraternity โDadโโa mentor who took me under his wing as a young college student. From that moment, Dustyโs kindness, humor, and intelligence left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Dusty had a rare gift: he truly got along with everyone. No matter who you were, he welcomed you with a smile, a laugh, or a word of encouragement. He was smart, funny, and genuinely one of the nicest people you could ever meet. His love for his family, friends, and country was evident in every action he took, and it inspired everyone around him.
For the past seven years, a few of us from college have carried on a cherished traditionโannual deer hunting trips on my familyโs property
