Family Pleads for Answers in Cuyahoga County Case: Help Locate Dachelle Carter

A grieving family is urgently seeking answers—and accountability—in the death of Heaven Williams, who was killed in November 2025 in Cuyahoga County. Authorities are now searching for 26-year-old Dachelle Carter in connection with the case, according to the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators report that the incident involved a car crash that turned fatal. However, the circumstances surrounding the crash have raised serious and painful questions for Heaven’s loved ones. Family members say video evidence exists that allegedly shows Michelle Carter, identified as Dachelle Carter’s mother, and Tyren Carter, her brother, involved in a violent assault moments before the fatal incident occurred. That footage, they say, changes everything.

“This didn’t have to happen,” the family says. “Heaven should still be alive.” Their message is a plea not only to law enforcement but to the public—to look at the evidence, imagine the loss of a loved one, and help bring clarity and justice to a case that has left them shattered.

Dachelle Carter is described as 5’4” and approximately 120 pounds. Authorities believe she may have information critical to the investigation, and her whereabouts are currently unknown. The family stresses the urgency of locating her, expressing concerns for public safety and emphasizing the need for cooperation.

They are calling on anyone who knows where Dachelle Carter is—or who has information relevant to the events leading up to Heaven Williams’ death—to come forward. Even a small tip could make a significant difference.
