The search for missing man Chris Palmer continues as United Cajun Navy Incident Commander Josh Gill provided a detailed update on the ongoing rescue operation. Palmer, who vanished under mysterious circumstances in late December, remains the focus of a determined search by local authorities and volunteers.

In a recent briefing, Gill shared that the United Cajun Navy—an organization known for its volunteer-led rescue missions during natural disasters—has been actively involved in the search efforts. While Gill emphasized the challenges presented by the difficult terrain and adverse weather conditions, he assured the public that the search was progressing with urgency and dedication.

“We are fully committed to locating Chris Palmer and bringing him home,” Gill said. “Our team is working around the clock, deploying search crews on land, water, and air in an effort to cover as much ground as possible.”

The search for Palmer, which initially focused on a wide stretch of wooded areas and nearby water sources, has now expanded. Volunteers have joined the effort, assisted by local law enforcement agencies, to increase the search area.
