Boca Raton Mourns the Loss of Coach Eric Moskoff: A Legacy of Leadership and Compassion

BOCA RATON, FL — It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Coach Eric Moskoff, a beloved and integral part of the WBYB family. Eric, who coached for more than five years, was not just a coach but a mentor, friend, and pillar of the community. His sudden departure has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Eric’s journey with the WBYB league began when his son, Aiden, started playing Teeball. What began as a simple desire to support his son quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Eric’s passion for coaching, coupled with his natural ability to connect with kids and parents alike, made him a standout figure in the league. He was not just teaching the fundamentals of the game—he was shaping young minds, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Over the years, Eric became much more than a coach to those he worked with. He became a friend and a trusted mentor, always ready to lend a hand or offer advice, whether it was about the game or life itself. His infectious energy, dedication, and kindness made him a positive influence in the lives of countless players and their families.

Eric’s impact extended far beyond the field. He had a way of making everyone feel like a part of the team, and his leadership inspired others to be their best selves. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The WBYB family is heartbroken by this loss, and we extend our condolences to his family. A fundraiser has been established to support his loved ones during this difficult time. Eric’s spirit will forever remain in our hearts and in the memories of the countless children he coached and mentored.
